2-Day Masterclass on Evidence Based Contemporary Treatment Techniques in Pediatric Dentistry

Meenakshi S. Kher, MDS, FIAPD is a leading specialist in clinical pediatric dentistry in India. A graduate of the Government Dental College & Hospital, Mumbai (1991) she received her Master’s degree in Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry from the Nair Hospital Dental College, Mumbai (1995). She then established the ‘Happy Tooth Clinic for Kids’ in Mumbai city, a practice dedicated exclusively to managing the oral health needs of children from infancy to 18 years.

In 2019, she authored the book, ‘Contemporary Treatment Techniques in Pediatric Dentistry’ by Springer International Publications. The book has since been translated into Turkish. In May 2023, Dr. Meenakshi was awarded the Fellowship of the International Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (IAPD). She is also a member of the Education Committee of the IAPD.

An invited speaker to international congresses, webinars and podcasts, her passion lies in motivating clinicians to practice evidence based, child centred pediatric dentistry. This along with her popular CE workshop Pedopathshala (2010) has allowed her the opportunity to personally mentor thousands of dentists from different parts of the world. She takes a special interest in the fields of minimally invasive dentistry, dental traumatology, treating children with disabilities and in the efficient use of soft tissue lasers in children.
